A Mother
A Mother has such Love
That’ll make you grow or die
A Mother has such Faith
That’ll make you want to get ahead
Or just get by…
A Mother has such Words
That’ll make you soar, or bring you down inside
A Mother holds such Patience
That’ll give you Hope, or help burn you dry…
For I know these things as a Mother
And the latter I prefer not to choose
Because as a Mother
I’ll teach my kids,
Encourage them
To try to touch the Moon…
